in downloading a file from newsgroup 'a' and using MPD the Par2 is reffering back to a completely different file system that came from a very different newsgroup.
I torrented something else, and the AZ torrent thought it was a file from EZ 7z
Bummer.
any ideas? through the whole thing out?
unfortunately I can't find my Mac 10.4 install DVD'S to boot from them and try reparing the permissions and fixing and repairing the boot HD.

The file extension PAR2 is associated with QuickPar, which is an application used to recover data.
